🔧 Basic Checks

  • Power – Make sure the system has power (breaker, outlet, battery backup).

  • Remote/keypad – Check batteries and reprogram if needed.

  • Manual release – Ensure the gate isn’t in manual mode.

⚙️ Gate Movement Issues

  • Gate won’t open/close

    • Check for obstructions (rocks, debris, bent track).

    • Inspect limit switches (may be misadjusted).

  • Gate stops halfway

    • Could be resistance → check hinges, rollers, or track.

    • Motor might be overheating.

    • Check control board fuse.
